Solidarität statt Verdrängung, Überwachung und Rassismus
Die Eisenbahnstraße wird ab dem 5.11.18 eine Waffenverbotszone sein.
Das bedeutet, dass jede Person, die absichtlich oder unwissentlich eine Waffe oder einen gefährlichen Gegenstand mit in dieses Gebiet nimmt, bis zu 10.000€ Strafe zahlen muss. Natürlich nur, wenn sie dabei erwischt wird und solange keine bestimmten Ausnahmen greifen. So werden dauerhaft verdachtsunabhängige Kontrollen ermöglicht und wir werden mit wesentlich mehr Polizeipräsenz konfrontiert sein. Dass dies nur ein Instrument ist, um einen selbst produzierten „Kriminalitätsschwerpunkt“ zu befrieden und unter dem Label der „Sicherheit“ eine autoritäre Entwicklung voranzutreiben, ist für uns klar.
Innenminister Wöller (CDU) und Oberbürgermeister Jung (SPD) machen sich hier zum Erfüllungsgehilfen für polizeiliche Law-and-Order Politik. Dass sie die Einrichtung der Waffenverbotszone mit einer „feierlichen Enthüllung der Verbotstafeln“ am 05.11. begehen wollen, macht es umso grotesker. Denn in den betroffenen Wohngebieten hat niemand um diese Zone, geschweige denn um mehr Polizei gebeten. Wir werden diese Provokation daher nicht hinnehmen. Mit kreativen Performances und inhaltlicher Kritik in Form von Redebeiträgen und einem offenen Mikrophon zeigen wir die Ablehnung verdrängender, diskriminierender und repressiver Maßnahmen.
Wir sind der Überzeugung, dass eine Strategie, die auf der Personalisierung und Verräumlichung gesellschaftlicher Probleme basiert, nichts verbessern wird. Bestimmte Menschen und Orte werden kriminalisiert und bestraft, das Gebiet um die Eisenbahnstr. einfach pauschal als gefährlich deklariert. Dies führt jedoch nur zu permanenter Überwachung, einer Verschiebung aus dem Sichtbaren und dem Ausschluss von Menschen aus der Gesellschaft. Wir alle wollen hier leben und daher zusammen soziale Lösungsansätze für bestehende Probleme erarbeiten.
Dazu verbinden wir Kämpfe miteinander, die die sozialen Probleme unseres Viertels wirklich angehen:
– Widerstand gegen den Ausbau eines „Sicherheitsapparates“ durch Polizeipräsenz, Kontrollen, Kameras, racial profiling und weitere technische Aufrüstung und Ausweitung der Befugnisse durch das neue Polizeigesetz
– der Kampf gegen Ideologien, die die Freiheit und Gleichheit aller Menschen in Frage stellen, sowie jede Art von Diskriminierung. Sei es Rassismus, Sexismus (der die Quelle vieler gewalttätiger Übergriffe darstellt), Klassismus, Transfeindlichkeit, Antisemitismus und Antiromaismus.
– die Forderung, sozialstaatlichen Leistungen für alle (auch für Illegalisierte) in Form von kostenloser Gesundheitsversorgung, Wohnungslosenunterkünften, Drogenkonsumräumen und das Einstellen der Hartz IV-Sanktionen
– der Einsatz gegen Entmietung und einer Aufwertung des Viertels, die dazu führt, dass prekarisierte Menschen immer weiter an die Stadtränder verdrängt und vom öffentlichen Leben ausgeschlossen werden
– das Engagement in sozialen Projekten für eine solidarische Nachbarschaft, wie Bildungsarbeit und Unterstützung von Geflüchteten

Solidarity instead of repression, surveillance and racism
From 5.11.18, the Eisenbahnstraße will be a weapons prohibition zone.
This means that every person who intentionally or unknowingly takes a weapon or a dangerous object into this area will have to pay a penalty of up to 10,000€. Of course, only if she is caught doing so and as long as no specific exceptions apply. This will make it possible to carry out permanent checks without suspicion and we will be confronted with a much greater police presence. It is clear to us that this is only an instrument to pacify a self-produced “crime focus” and to promote an authoritarian development under the label of “security”.
Minister of the Interior Wöller (CDU) and Mayor Jung (SPD) make themselves the vicarious agents for police law-and-order policy. That they want to commit the mechanism of the weapon prohibition zone with a solemn unveiling of the prohibition boards to 05.11. makes it all the more grotesque. Because in the affected residential areas nobody asked for this zone, let alone for more police. We will therefore not accept this provocation. With creative performances and content criticism in the form of speeches and an open microphone, we show the rejection of repressive, discriminatory and repressive measures.
We are convinced that a strategy based on the personalization and spatialization of social problems will not improve anything. Certain people and places will be criminalised and punished, and the area around Eisenbahnstr. will simply be declared dangerous as a whole. However, this only leads to permanent surveillance, a shift from the visible and the exclusion of people from society. We all want to live here and therefore work together to find social solutions to existing problems.
For this purpose we combine struggles with each other that really tackle the social problems of our neighbourhood:
– Resistance against the expansion of a “security apparatus” through police presence, controls, cameras, racial profiling and further technical upgrading and extension of powers through the new police law.
– the fight against ideologies that call into question the freedom and equality of all human beings, as well as all forms of discrimination. Be it racism, sexism (which is the source of many violent attacks), classism, transophobia, antisemitism and antiromaism.
– the demand for welfare services for all (including illegalized persons) in the form of free health care, shelters for the homeless, drug-taking rooms and the cessation of Hartz IV sanctions
– the fight against lettings and an upgrading of the neighbourhood, which leads to precarious people being pushed further and further into the outskirts of the city and excluded from public life
– the involvement in social projects for a neighbourhood based on solidarity, such as educational work and support for refugees
